Skateboarding Q: Do I need to wear a helmet? A: Helmets worn at your discretion (or your parent's if you're under 13). Q: Can I rent a skateboard? A: As standard we don't rent skateboards, however we can occasionally rent them for coaching sessions. Q: Can I buy skateboard parts? A: The skate shop stocks most parts you'll need. BMX Q: Do I need to wear a helmet? A: Yes. Anyone not wearing a helmet will be ejected from the park. Q: Can I rent a bike? A: As standard we don't rent bikes, however we can occasionally rent them for coaching sessions. Q: Can I buy components and inner tubes? A: The café sells mountain bike inner tubes - but supplies can vary, we advise calling in advance. Q: Do you allow mountain bikes? A: Yes. We have a number of regular mountain bikers and dirt jumpers. Inline Q: Do I need to wear a helmet? A: Yes. Anyone not wearing a helmet will be ejected from the park. Q: Can I rent a pair of skates? A: No, we don't carry stocks of inline skates. Q: Can I buy inline parts? A: Unfortunately we don't stock inline parts. Q: Can I wax? A: No. Waxing is dangerous to those not skating inline. Q: Do you offer inline coaching? A: No. Unfortunately we have no inline coaches. Scooters Q: Do I have to wear a helmet? A: Yes. Anyone not wearing a helmet will be ejected from the park. Q: Can I rent a scooter? A: No, we don't carry stocks of scooters. Q: Can I buy scooter parts? A: Unfortunately we don't stock scooter parts. Q: Do you offer scooter coaching? A: No. Unfortunately, we have no in-house scooter coaches. Membership Q: Do I have to buy membership? A: Yes; you have to have either daily at £4, monthly at £10 or annual at £30. Q: Do I need a passport photo? A: Yes if you're buying annual membership, otherwise no. Q: Do I need a parent/guardian to come down and sign me in? A: On your first visit to the park we require a membership form signed by a parent or guardian for participants under 18yrs old, either in person or before you arrive. For every visit afterwards it's not necessary as we'll have you on our system. Q: Why do you need a membership form? A: Mainly, it's to confirm that you realize the inherent risks involved and accept responsibility. Secondly, we require contact details so that in the event of an injury we can contact someone. It is therefore very important that all details are full and correct. Misc. Q: Can I bring visitors? A: Yes, they just need to sign in and you are responsible for them. Q: Can I take photos and video? A: Yes, but you need permission from anyone you're filming besides yourself. Ask park staff about image release forms Q: Do you have set session times? A: No, your session begins when you arrive and you are responsible for coming out on time. If you pay longer than your session you can pay the difference at reception. Q: How old do you have to be? A: Children under 8 must be supervised by their parents/guardian. For children aged 8-13 we advise parents stay in the building. Q: Do you have parking? A: Yes, we have a car park attached to the building. |
